Gallon Sexy Shrimp Reef
Nassarius Snail Photos
Added to the nano April 5, 2003.
Six nassarius snails were
added to help stir up the sandbed which we hope will eliminate the grey
cyanobacteria problem we've had for the last three weeks.
They are less than 1/2" in length.
Nassarius snails just after
the shipping bag was opened.
All were active in the bowl to which they were first added.
The snails get quickly to
work stirring up the sandbed.
The grey pointy things are what we see as they go beneath the sandbed.
