72 Gallon Bowfront Fish and Soft Coral Aquarium

Hitchhikers

Three of these bugs were found in our 72 gal. one night
while we were viewing the tank with a flashlight.
Not knowing if they were parasites or scavengers, we isolated them in a 5 gal.
They were later identified by Dr. Ron at ReefCentral
as scavenger sphaeromatids.

These 1/4" long blue worms were also found by flashlight
swimming in the water column in a zigzag/circular type of motion.
They were also identified by Dr. Ron at ReefCentral
as a reproductive swarmer or epitoke.
