  • Tools used long tweezers and or turkey baster for food handling.

Feeding Method:

  • Thaw out food, soak in Selcon and Zoe, then sprinkle dehydrated Cyclopeeze and allow to sit 5 minutes.
  • Use tweezers to pick up food and drop down food drop tube

Training Seahorses to Eat from Feeding Station:

  • It was easy to train my wild caught H. barbouri, because I didn't. They ate from the coral first and then by accident I broke the coral where I used to stuff the food. Since they used to hitch to the coral, I put the food there and they just ate it.
  • In the tray, I used fresh killed live food, as you can tell from the picture there is adult brine in the tray. From that, they figured out that is where the food always appears. They were easier than the Erectus fry.
