►Okay. So I said I couldn't bring out any of my
Sylvanian stuff until the frame sections, plywood and
ceiling were all put together. But... but... but, I
just had to see if the place I'd planned on having the Canal
Boat and the Mill on the Hill would actually fit. And,
they do!The Mill on the Hill will be elevated by
some means so there is a kind of harbor for the Canal Boat.
I'm not sure how I'm going to do it at this moment, but am
thinking of using a technique the model railroad guys use -
which is gluing sheets of Styrofoam insulation together,
then carving and painting and doing some other things to
make the harbor and land areas look natural.
On the left side, I'm thinking about putting a beach area
with space for camping and wilderness exploration.
Wow! Now that I see Sylvanian stuff on the plywood,
I just want to have all the basic structure finished and
ready to go on to the part where I landscape everything!
I can't wait! I'd better get cracking, but first I
have to put the Canal Boat and the Mill on the Hill away.
